It is with heavy hearts that we announce Richard’s peaceful passing on Friday January 4, 2019 at the Timmins and District Hospital Palliative Care Unit with his wife Leonie Robichaud by his side, along with his three children Roxanne Miller, Eric Robichaud( Julia Gauthier) and Josée Clement ( Paul), his sister Dianne Boissonneault (Guy) and his dear friend Doug Ryan. Proud grandfather to Paige Miller, Noa Clement, Jaxon Gauthier, Kaylee Gauthier, Zayde Gauthier and Dylan Garito. He is also survived by his mother Marie Paule Robichaud and by many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father Fortunat Robichaud. His favorite pastime was fishing and hunting with his friends and family. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the Timmins and District Hospital staff and especially to Dr. Tammy Hopkins for their dedicated care and compassion. A memorial service will be held on Saturday January 12, 2019 at 10:30 am at St-Dominique Church. A reception and celebration of Richards’ life will follow at the St-Dominique Parish Hall, 365 Norman St, Timmins.
