Passed away on Saturday, January 26, 2019 at St. Mary’s Hospital at the age of 60.
Beloved husband of Cheryl Harrington for 40 years.
Loving father of Sheena (Sean Wells).
Cherished son-in-law of Gloria Seegmiller.
Dear brother of Joanne (the late Dennis Jamieson), Deborah Monk (Art), Lynn Stapleton (Stephen Lang), Christine Steveson (Tom), Jeff (Mary), Tim (Nancy), Andrew (Sandy), Pete (Joan) and Pat (Kate Friars).
Survived by many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his parents Roland and Shirley and his brother-in-law the late Morley Stapleton.
Rich’s family will receive relatives and friends from 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 30, 2019 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. A Celebration of Rich’s Life will be held in the chapel of the funeral home at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, January 31, 2019. Reception to follow. Cremation has taken place.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the St. Mary’s Hospital Foundation- Cardiac Care Centre would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
Rich’s kind spirit will live on in others through his organ donation.
