In Loving Memory of
Panagiota “Pitsa” (Stamadianos) Panaritis
Born Saturday, August 15th, 1931 in Koupia, Greece.
Peacefully, Thursday, January 24th, 2019 at St. Joseph’s Villa, Sudbury, with loving family at her side.
Beloved wife of Ioannis “John” Panaritis predeceased 2004. Loving mother of Nichola “Nick” and Matina (husband Lembo Mattei), and Peter (wife Paula). Cherished Yiayia of Maria, Giancarlo (wife Brittney), Ioanni, Melina, and Super Yiayia to Scarlett. Dear sister of Kosma (wife Afroditi) both predeceased, Loula (husband Dimitri Driva) both predeceased, Themistocli predeceased (wife Panagiota), and Georgia (husband Thanassi Rodis predeceased). Dear sister in law to Constantine Panaritis (predeceased)(wife Heleni), Eleni Tsipas (husband Ioannis) both predeceased, and Vasiliki Panaritis (husband Georgios) both predeceased. Sadly missed by loving nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Pitsa and her husband worked at their restaurants Mid Town Lunch and Oak Barrel Restaurant for many years. She was an active and proud member of the local Greek community. She will be remembered as a good and determined person and friend, who was always quick to help others. She was an excellent cook, who enjoyed hosting family dinners and celebrations. The focus of her life was her family, especially her precious grandchildren. The light of her life will be cherished by all who knew and loved her.
