Obituary of Norma Slatter
Norma Helen Slatter, age 79 of Berwick, passed away January 11, 2019. Born in Toronto, Ont., she was a daughter of the late Arthur Joe Lindow and Ellen (Sullivan) Lindow.
Norma enjoy doing crafts, being with family and friends and her special little boys, Buddy and Squeaky her cats.
Norma is survived by her husband, Stanley Slatter of Grandview Manor; daughters, Deborah Slatter, Halifax; Linda (Reid) Harvey, Nova Scotia and son, Randal Slatter, Aylesford; brother, Norman “Bill” (Lynne) Lindow, Victoria Harbour, Ont.; special niece, Linda (Ken) Smith, Barrie, Ont.; grandchildren, Shelley Bent, Centreville; Bradley Bent, Coldbrook; Kate (Ian) Melanson, Grand Prairie, Alta.; Calen Outhouse, New Brunswick; great-grandchildren, Emily, Dylan, Lakeisha, Kalia and Kara; great great-grandchildren, Lexi, Aliza, Connor, and Jack, of Centreville.
Norma was predeceased by her sister, Valerie (Lewis) Lutz of Toronto, Ont.
Cremation has taken place as per Norma’s request. There will be a private Graveside Service in Berwick Cemetery for family and friends. Memorial donations may be made to the Safe Haven Rescue, Berwick. Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, Berwick Funeral Chapel, 192 Commercial Street, Berwick, NS, B0P 1E0 (902-538-9900).
