Mary Frances Parsons

Passed away at the Norris Point Health Centre Jan 27th, 2019 after a short illness, Mary Francis Parsons (nee Coady) of Rocky Harbour formerly of Dunville, Placentia Bay. Leaving to mourn her eternally dedicated husband Robert Parsons (Bob) and devoted son Brian his caring wife Misty and centre of her life, grandson Thomas. Predeceased by parents Elizabeth and Thomas Coady and brother Joseph. Also leaving to mourn sisters Donna Cook (Gary) of Lower Sackville Nova Scotia, Regina (Alf Power) of St. John’s, Betty Kelly (Joe) of Dunville. Also leaving to mourn Parsons brothers in laws and their families Ken (Rhoda); Cliff, Melvin (Marg), Fred Dennis (brother-in-law), Bill (Pres), Irving (Lily), Fred (Lorraine), Carson (Bernette),and Parsons sisters in law Ann Knott (late Clary), Lil Batstone (late Bob), Fred Dennis and deceased members of the Parsons family including her mother and father in law Winnie and Stewart, her late brother in law Gordon and sisters in law, Betty (Clarence – deceased) Jackson, and Irene (Glen deceased) Flatt and Anita Dennis.
Mary leaves a large group of nieces and nephews and an extended large circle of close and devoted friends.
She was the family historian and knew the up to date of all relatives near and far. Mary worked her whole career as a teacher in the Rocky Harbour and Norris Point school system. She touched many lives in her career working especially with children with needs.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to a charity of your choice.
Cremation has taken place , a visitation with family and friends will occur at the St. Matthew’s Anglican Church in Rocky Harbour where also a celebration of life will occur with a private interment to follow .Times and dates will be announced.
