MACKAY, Mary Belle – Passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side at Sakura House, Woodstock on Saturday January 26, 2019 in her 92nd year. Beloved wife of the late J. Willard Mackay (2011). Survived by her 7 children, Jane Forster (Jim Hutchinson), John (Susan Schlaepfer), Barbara Flood (Ralph), Eleanor McIntosh (Bill), Ruth Buchner (Paul), Nancy Creeden (Larry) and Joyce Rolph (Perry). Mary was very proud of her 23 grandchildren, Jennifer Hutchinson and Kelli Forster (Trevor), Willard (Stephanie) and Hayley Mackay (William), Christy (Phil), Matthew (Linsay), Rob (Valery) and Carrie (Essi) Flood, Julie (Mike), Kimberley (Josh), Amy, Sarah (Chris) and Greg (Laura) McIntosh, Andrew (Samantha), James (Elizabeth) and Kevin (Kristin) Buchner, Natalie (Darryl), Allison (Neil), Madeline (Josh) and Mark (Jenn) Hazeleger, Luke (Kathryn) and Samuel Rolph. She was treasured by her 19 great grandchildren. Dear sister of Margaret Green and will always be remembered by John Hazeleger and by her many nieces and nephews and by extended family and friends. Predeceased by her siblings; Myrtle Williams, James Fleming and by several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. Mary was a long-time member of Knox United Church, Embro, the UCW of Knox United and the Braemar Women’s Institute. Friends are welcome to join the family at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 519-539-0004 on Tuesday January 29, 2019 from 2-4 and 7-9pm. The funeral service will be held at Knox United Church, Embro on Wednesday at 11:00 am with Rev. Andrea Allan officiating. Interment later in the North Embro Cemetery.
