Obituary of Margaret Reimer
Dr. Margaret Loewen Reimer passed away on January 24th, 2019, at Grand River Hospital in Kitchener. She was 71. Her passing will be mourned by her three children, Christina (and her spouse Mike), Thomas (Shoshanna), and Micah (Erin), and her six grandchildren: Evelyn, Christof, Serafina, Wesley, Bastian, and Jascha. She was predeceased by her parents, Al and Anne Loewen, and her husband A. James Reimer.
Margaret was an editor and writer at the Mennonite Reporter (now the Canadian Mennonite), and attended and served at Rockway Mennonite Church.
Friends are invited to share their memories of Margaret with her family during visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Monday, January 28, 2019 from 5-9 pm. The funeral service will be held at Waterloo North Mennonite Church, 100 Benjamin Road, Waterloo on Tuesday, January 29 at 11:00 am. Reception to follow at the church. Family Interment at Roseville Mennonite Cemetery in the spring.
