Lucienne G.’s Obituary
Lucienne Germaine Pitre (née Lambert), long time resident of Girouxville (AB), passed away at the Smoky River Community Health Complex on January 11, 2019, at 74 years of age. She was born on February 18, 1944 in McLennan (AB) to Rose de Lima (née Lemay) and Raoul Lambert.
Lucienne’s life was a busy one and her careers included teacher, insurance agent, farmer, wife & mother. Lucienne enjoyed endless activities including campling, hunting, boating, curling, reading, playing scrabble and much more.
She is pre-deceased by her parents; brother Raymond and husband Jacques.
Lucienne is survived by her son Richard (Michelle); daughter Linda (Rick) Bennett; grandchildren Robert Pitre, Derek Pitre, Jesslyn des Medeiros & Daniel de Mederios; 7 siblings; the Red Hatters; extended friends and family.
Donations in Lucienne’s name may be made to the Cross Cancer Institute or Notre-Dame Church in Girouxville, as expressions of sympathy.
