Obituary of Louise King
Passed peacefully away surrounded by her loving family at the Pte. Josiah Squibb Memorial Pavilion, Carbonear on Thursday, January 24, 2019, Louise King of Perry’s Cove, age 86 years. Predeceased by husband: William Herbert; parents: Martin and Jane Budden; brothers: Llewellyn (Gladys), William (Minnie), Orville and Herbert; sisters: Harriet (Fred), Yvonne (Will), and Virtue; brothers-in-law: Jack and Edward Kelloway; sons-in-law: Robert Clarke and Stanley Barron; daughter-in-law: Marg King. Leaving to mourn, five sons: Warrick (Eileen), Buchans Junction, Garfield (Camila), Chatham, ON, Arnold (Marion), Walter (Gertie), both of Perry’s Cove, and Randolph, Carbonear; five daughters: Gale (Dan) Maloney, Buchans Junction, Juanita (Alvin) King, Perry’s Cove, Shirley (Jim) Deering, Shearstown, Claudette (Ron) Paddly, Timmins, ON, and Kelly Clarke (Rick Osmond), Victoria; a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister: Betty Kelloway; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel’s Funeral Home, Carbonear on Friday, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.; Saturday, 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Funeral service to take place on Saturday, January 26 at 2:00 p.m. from Noel’s Memorial Chapel, Carbonear. Interment in the United Church Cemetery, Perry’s Cove. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to the Louise King Memorial Fund, c/o Noel’s Funeral Home, 106 Water Street, Carbonear, NL, A1Y 1A9.
