Lois Jane Davies
March 9, 1936 – January 15, 2019
DAVIES, Lois Jane – Passed away peacefully at the FJ Davey Home on Tuesday, January 15, 2019 in her 83rd year.
Lois was the daughter of the late John and Lillian Rodger (Shorty and Mickey). Dear sister of Mary Krivan (Carl). Loving wife of the late Robert Davies (Duster). Devoted mother of the late Jeffery, Kenneth, John (Colleen) and Donald (Colleen). She will be missed by her grandchildren Kristy, Kerri, Jeff, Jessica, Drew, Devin, Connor, Megan and niece Janie Krivan (Andy) and nephew Scott Krivan (Kerri). Also survived by many nieces, nephews and great grandchildren. Special thank you to friend Nancy Hazzard for many years of support and compassion to Lois and Duster. Home for Lois will always be Pointe aux Pins with husband Duster where they lived on the St. Mary’s River, raising their family… great neighbours, many friends and countless good times. Teaching and painting were her passions but she will forever be remembered as a devoted, platinum card-carrying member of the junior birdsman club and shopping channel network. Friends are invited to visit at the Arthur Funeral Home – Barton & Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington St. E. 705-759-2522) on Saturday, January 19, 2019 from 9:30 am to 11:30 am. Funeral service to follow in the chapel at 12 pm. Rev. Nancy Ferguson officiating. Interment Greenwood Cemetery. Memorial contributions “payable by cheque” to a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated.
