Lana Mae Timmers, 74, of Wallaceburg, passed away at 2:43 PM Monday, January 21, 2019, with family by her side.
Lana was born September 29, 1944, in Prince George BC., the beloved daughter of Harold and Patricia Diaper, both predeceased, and moved to Wallaceburg at the age of 2.
Survived by Henrie Timmers, her beloved and loving husband of 30 years.
Lana was blessed in 1969 with the birth of her devoted daughter, Joy Punnewaert-King, who with her husband Steve gave Lana two wonderful grandchildren, Matthew, her faithful helper and coffee partner, and Aislyn, the angel of boundless love and energy.
Lana’s other daughter, Mari Wall, came into her life later, but as loving and loved. A much-blessed addition to her family.
Lana is also survived by her sister, Linda Weys, Kelowna BC.
Her niece, and nephews, and many cousins will miss Lana as well.
The late Lana Timmers rested at the Eric F. Nicholls Funeral Home Ltd. 639 Elgin St., Wallaceburg. Following her wishes, cremation has taken place. A private family service was held at the funeral home on Saturday, January 26, 2019.
