MacKenzie, Kenneth Owen – Age 73, of Enfield, passed away January 12, 2019, in Musquodoboit Valley Memorial Hospital, Middle Musquodoboit, following a long struggle with cancer. Born in Meaghers Grant, he was a son of the late Owen and Florence MacKenzie.
Kenneth will always be remembered for his infectious smile, joke telling, his love of dancing and horses.
Surviving are his daughters, Angela MacKenzie, New Glasgow; Anita (John) Pickup, Middle Musquodoboit; Trina Sampson, Enfield; grandchildren, Laura Pickup, Christian Sampson, Holly Smith, Danielle Sampson, Micheala Shannon; siblings, Ross (Mary), Eileen Myers, Carol (Rob) Vatcher, Linda Deale (Kirk), Donnie (Leanne), Ronnie (Sheila), Barbie MacKenzie, Donna (Paul) Elliott; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by wife, Elaine; brother, Ivan in infancy.
Visitation will be Tuesday, 7-9 p.m., and funeral service will be Wednesday at 2 p.m., both in Middleton United Church, Middle Musquodoboit, Rev. Dr. Linda Yates officiating. Burial will be in Meaghers Grant Cemetery at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to Canadian Cancer Society.
Arrangements are under the direction of Arimathea Funeral Cooperative, Upper Musquodoboit.
