The family of Kenneth “Kenny” Lovett regrets to announce his sudden passing at the age of 56 on December 21, 2018, in Calgary. Kenny is lovingly remembered by his wife, Louise; stepdaughter, Amy Leger; Dad, David; brother, Kevin (Judy); sister, Karen Keith; brother, Korry; brother, Kolin; stepbrother, Lindsay Doiron (Kim); stepsister, Kelly Doiron; niece, Jennifer; niece, Whitney Howe (David); nephew, Alex; niece, Sarah; many extended family and friends. Kenny was predeceased by his mother, Joan Lovett in 1997, and his stepmother Millie Lovett in 2016.
1980-1986 Kenny served in the Canadian Forces as a transport Trucker with 1 Svc Bn, TN Coy, Calgary, AB, and with the Airborne Regiment, Svc Commando, Petawawa, Ontario.
1990-2013 Kenny was highly regarded by many of his friends in the Calgary community through his 23-year Bar/PR Manager career at Peanuts Sports Pub, and his lifelong passion for football, broomball, and slow-pitch league participation.
In Kenny’s final few years he was employed by the Commissionaires of Canada at the Calgary International Airport.
A Celebration of Kenny’s Life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion – Centennial Calgary Branch 285, 9202 Horton Rd. SW, Calgary, AB. Phone: 403-255-5772 on Saturday, March 9th, 2019 at at 2:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Kenny’s memory to a Children’s Hospital of your choice.
