Ken Vickerman, died peacefully on January 10, 2019 at Lakeshore Lodge in Toronto, Ontario. His visitation will be held on Monday January 14, 2019 at Hyde & Mott Funeral Home at 60 Main Street, Hagersville, Ontario from 5pm – 7pm.
Ken was born on August 27, 1937 in Hagersville, Ontario. He had a love for his three sons as well as a passion for everything outdoors, including skiing, cycling and gardening. He also loved music and dancing, often the last one on the dance floor. Over the years, Ken was an active entrepreneur with businesses in both the grocery and hospitality industries. Specifically, his business in Brantford with his brother Keith was a highlight of his career.
He is survived by his three sons David (Catherine), Don (Julie) and Daniel, his grandchildren Victoria, Ella, Jack, Will, Hugh, Skylar, Eva, Lilly, Sofia and Aspen as well as his son’s mother, Eileen Baggs. He is also survived by his nieces Karen (Dave), Kristie (Brian), Debbie, Diane (Brian) and Sandi (Mark). He was predeceased by his parents, David and Dorothy Vickerman and his brothers Don and Keith Vickerman.
