1930-2019
It is with deep regret that we announce the passing of Keith Benjamin
Estey of Plaster Rock, NB, at his home on January 21, 2019.
Keith was born in Plaster Rock, NB on July 7, 1930. He was the son of
the late Benjamin and Alice (Ashford) Estey. Keith leaves to mourn his
daughter, Valerie Beswick (Peter) of Cambridge, ON; his son Dennis
Estey (Arlene) of High River, AB; his grandsons, Blair and Brett
Estey, Jeffrey and Dwayne Steeves; his granddaughter, Chelsea and
great granddaughter, Starey Ironside; his brother, Hubert Estey of
Ottawa, ON; and his very dear friend, Betty Lockhart of Perth-Andover,
NB; along with many nieces and nephews.
Keith is predeceased by his parents; his wife, Margaret Estey (Miller)
on June 24, 2006.
Keith lived all his life in the Village of Plaster Rock and was
employed at Fraser Company for forty years. He was a member of the
Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #29 for over 40 years and also the
Tobique Seniors Club. He loved his cat, Nicole, and was an avid
cribbage player and made many unique crib boards over the years. He
also loved music.
Resting at the Tobique Chapel in Plaster Rock, NB, with visitation on
Thursday from 6-8 pm. Funeral service will be on Friday, January 25,
2019 at 11 am from St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. Father Gilbert
Doddatto celebrating. Interment will be in the parish cemetery at a
later date.
For those who wish, memorial donations to the Victoria County SPCA,
the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #29, or to a charity of your choice
would be appreciated by the family.
There will be a Legion Memorial Service held at the chapel on Thursday
at 7 pm.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Brunswick Funeral Home,
Perth-Andover and Plaster Rock.
