1954-2019
Karlene A. Maynard, of Riverview passed
away at the Dr. Georges L. Dumont University Hospital, on Tuesday,
January 8, 2019 at the age of 64 years.
Born in Summerside PE,
she was the daughter of Elda (McLeod) of PE and the late Elton
Sharpe.
Karlene enjoyed many
years working at Cavendish Farms in Moncton. A member of the Greater
Moncton Equestrian Club, horses were a big part of her life. She took
great pride in riding and later became the best horse show mom a girl
could ever ask for. She enjoyed travelling with her husband and
spending time with family and friends at their trailer on PE. Above
all Karlene loved her grandbabies, they were her whole
world.
Besides her mother she was survived by her husband Allison;
daughter Jillian Maynard (Marc Gauvin); son Ryan Maynard (Tanya
Kingston); grandchildren Evan and Ethan Gauvin and Danika Maynard all
of Riverview; sisters Darla (William) Hardy, Melanie (Myles)
MacPherson, and Marsha (Kevin) Coughlin all of PE; brother Byron
(Charlene) Sharpe of Riverview; several nieces and
nephews.
Besides her father she was predeceased by her aunt Evelyn
Adams.
Visitation will be held at Tuttle Brothers &
Riverview Funeral Home on Friday, January 11, 2019 from 2:00pm –
4:00pm & 6:00pm – 8:00pm.
The funeral service will be held at Tuttle Brothers and
Riverview Funeral Home, 214 Pine Glen Rd. on Saturday, January 12,
2019 at 10:00am.
Donations in Karlene’s memory made to the Cavalier
Therapeutic Riding Club would be appreciated.
