Karen F Lee 19562019

Karen F. Lee
1956-2019
Karen Frances Lee passed away peacefully in her home,
surrounded by her family, on January 4th, 2018. Born on August 25th,
1956, she was the daughter of the late Leo and Lillian (Buckley)
Hickey. Karen married her high school sweetheart, Michael Lee, and
they spent 48 years building a family and later going on many
adventures. While Karen’s family was at the center of her
life, she had a strong passion for teaching, gardening, sewing, and
making things beautiful. Karen loved traveling near and far, meeting
with friends new and old. Most of all, Karen loved being with her
three grandchildren, with whom she cherished every
minute.
She is remembered by her loving husband, Michael Lee,
daughters Caitlin Leger (Justin) and Megan Abrams (Matthew) and her
granddaughters Sophia, Jocelyn and Aria. She is also remembered by
sisters Anne (Bob), Colleen (Kurt) and brother Patrick (Mary Lou). She
had many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who she loved very
much.
A Celebration of Life will be held at
Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111
Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (634-7424) on Tuesday, January 8th from
1pm to 4 pm. Remembrances to the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre would
be appreciated. Online condolences can be placed at
