Julia Stephanie Jesty (nee Wade) aka “Bama”
Passed peacefully in her sleep on December 26th, in Ottawa, at the age of 78. Predeceased by her devoted parents: H.F. “Harry” Wade and Eileen Ryan and older brother Kerry. Bama was the loving mother of Dan, Catherine, Maureen and mother-in-law of James “Jim”; doting grandmother of Courtney and Garrett, Samantha and Levon, Jordy and Dereck, Jonathan, Alyssa and Curtis; Great-Grandmother of four; loving sister of Catherine “Auntie”, Joseph “Joe” Bama will be missed by many nieces and nephews and many others who deeply loved her. Lifelong friend of Joan and Phyllis. Bama was a selfless caregiver who put those she loved first, never a complaint and always saw the best in everyone. She had a beautiful heart, a beautiful spirit, a truly beautiful person. You will always be present in our hearts and minds. Family and friends are invited to Racine, Robert & Gauthier Beauchamp Funeral Home, 47 Denise-Friend, Gatineau (Aylmer), on Wednesday, January 2, 2019 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, January 3, 2019 at 11 a.m. in St-Mark Church, 160 rue Principale, Gatineau (Aylmer). In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
