August 28, 1926 – January 29, 2019

Josephine (Josie) Heneghan (nee Fallon) passed away peacefully in her sleep on January 29, 2019. She was born August 28, 1926 near Strokestown, Roscommon Ireland and married Matthew Heneghan in Manchester England on July 30, 1947. They immigrated to Canada that winter and settled in Espanola, Ontario, Survived by her daughter Rosemary Heneghan, granddaughters Kristine Taylor (Steve), Marcia Campbell and great granddaughter Samantha Josephine Taylor. She was predeceased by daughter Bridget, her husband Matt and by her sisters Mary (Canada), Rose and Bridie (England) and Susan and Sally (Ireland). A funeral service will be on Friday February 1, 2019 in the Bourcier Funeral Home at 11 AM with Fr. Jerry officiating. Interment in the Espanola Cemetery at a later date in the spring. Big thanks to the staff of St Joseph’s Villa, Hillcrest Manor, who took such great care of her over the past 15 years. Arrangements by BOURCIER FUNERAL HOME Ltd, Espanola.
