Bond, James Bond (007) “Jim”
Passed away peacefully, surrounded by family on Wednesday January 30th, 2019, at Innisfree House at the age of 69. Beloved husband of Louise (Trussler) Bond for 50 years. Loving Dad of James Bond Jr. (Angela Gossmann) and Kristi McIver (Todd McIver). Awesome Papa of Mikaela, Caitlyn, Jakob, Breckin and Jordis. Brother of Mickey, Peter, Cathy and the late Mary Lou. He will be lovingly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, in-laws, out-laws, friends and co-workers.
Jim’s family will receive relatives and friends on Friday February 8th, 2019, from 2:00 – 4:00 pm and 7:00 – 9:00 pm, at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday Febuary 9th, 2019, from 3:00 – 10:00 pm at the Edelweiss Tavern, 600 Doon Village Rd., Kitchener. Jim’s favorite games will be played and many memories shared.
Thank you to all the nurses, staff, support workers, volunteers and doctors who cared for him.
As expressions of sympathy and in lieu of flowers, donations to the Innisfree House and Grand River Hospital Foundation- Cancer Center would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
