Jean Elizabeth Pinch
1946-2019
Jean Elizabeth Pinch – age 72, of
Wallbrook, passed away on Thursday, January 3, 2019 in the Valley
Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in Wallbrook, she was a daughter of
the late Alden and Alice (King) Pinch. Jean was an avid flower
gardener who enjoyed playing cards and various games. She especially
enjoyed playing bingo and attending yard sales. She will be sadly
missed by all who knew and loved her. She is survived by her husband
of 53 years, Silas “Budd”; daughters, Lesa Schofield,
Rainbow Lake, Alberta; Kathleen “Kate” (Tim) Farris,
Wallbrook; son Theodore (Theresa), Wallbrook; sisters, Sylvia Myles
(Wilfred – deceased), Wallbrook; Rose Hiltz, Kentville; Aggie Pinch,
Toronto, Ontario; brothers, Stanley, West Brooklyn; Harold (Linda),
London, Ontario; Wayne (Iona), Wolfville; Laurie (Thelma), Wallbrook;
grandchildren, Alicia Farris (Kirby O’Hara), Wallbrook;
Justin Farris, Gaspereau; Holly (Mark) Wahl, Dean Schofield (Kendra
Bagole) all of Rainbow Lake, Alberta; great-grandchildren, Lily
Farris, Phoenix Wahl and Emberley Wahl. Besides her parents, Jean was
predeceased by a brother, Gerald, in childhood.
Cremation has taken place.
Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Monday, January 7, 2019 in
the White Family Funeral Home, Kentville where the funeral service
will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 8, 2019, Reverend
Gary Manthorne officiating. A reception will follow in the Meadowview
Community Centre, 8464 Brooklyn Street, Kentville. Burial will take
place at a later date in the West Brooklyn Cemetery. Donations in
memory may be made to the Valley Regional Hospital or Valley Hospice
Foundation. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the White
Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services,
Kentville.
