Obituary of Janet Berndt
BERNDT – Janet Lucille (nee Ridgway)
Peacefully at Park Lane Terrace, Paris on Wednesday January 16, 2019 at the age of 92 years. Beloved wife of the late George (2001). Much loved Mom of Brian (Theresa) and Bev Berndt. Cherished Gramma of Lorna Telford (Dal) Janet is survived by her beloved sisters, Vera German and Connie Peters (Ron). She will be fondly remembered by Bev Ridell and by her nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends. Mom’s strength, resiliency and love of family was the foundation of our lives. She taught us to work hard, love unconditionally and live with honesty and integrity. She will be forever loved and forever missed. Heartfelt thank you to Dr. Catherine Hanley and the caring staff of Park Lane for the love and support offered to Janet and her family. The family invites friends to pay their respects at the McCLEISTER FUNERAL HOME, 495 Park Road N. Brantford on Thursday January 24, 2019 from 9:30 – 11 am.
