BERGERON, James – Mr. James Bergeron at Cornwall Hospice on Wednesday January 30, 2019 at the age of 89 years. Beloved husband of the late Jane (née Tyo) Bergeron; and loving companion of the late Gisele McCulloch. Loved father of Terry (Darlene) and Richard (Lise). Sadly missed by his grandchildren Adam, Dan, Melissa; and great-grandchildren Terrance, Delilah and Zackery. Loved son of the late Duncan and Elsie (née Fisher) Bergeron. Dear brother of Floyd (Jeannine), Douglas (late Myrtle), Margaret Peer (late Dick), Reverend Sister Rita Bergeron, Lillianne Martel (late George). Predeceased by his brothers Albert (Louise), Percy, and sisters Eleanor Leroux (late Lawrence), and Helen Caddy (late Harold). Resting at the Wilson Funeral Home 822 Pitt Street, Cornwall where visitation will be held on Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. The Mass of the Resurrection with Commendation and Farewell will be celebrated in St. Francis de Sales Roman Catholic Church 434 Second Street, West, Cornwall on Monday February 4, 2019 at 11:00 AM. Rite of Committal at a later date in Nativity Parish Cemetery, Cornwall. If so desired contributions in his memory to the Cornwall Hospice or the Parkinson Society would be appreciated by the family.
