Iris Julia White 1927 2019

Iris Julia White (née King), peacefully passed away on Tuesday January 15, 2019 in Kingston at the age of 91. She is survived by her loving husband George, her son Paul (Caroline), and her grandsons Isaac (Maggie) and Miles. After emigrating from England, Iris was an avid traveler, getting to see much of the world (Egypt was a particular favourite). She also ran her own housewares business, “Julia’s”, for a time at the Frontenac Mall. Her knitting and needle-point were second to none and she was beloved by many in the community. She will be missed, but is now “off to be with Zeus”.
