Lifetime member of the Catholic Women’s League
Passed away peacefully surrounded by family at the age of 101 on Wednesday, January 30, 2019 at the Ottawa Hospital, Civic Campus. Beloved wife of the late Desmond. Daughter of the late Harry and Helena O’Connor (nee Quade). Cherished mother of her daughter, Kathy Curry (Stewart) and predeceased by her son, Frank Kilgour. Proud grandmother of Jason Curry (Nicole), Mike Curry (Patricia) and Chris Curry (Kasey). A very special great-granny to Chase and Kali-Emmeline Curry. Helen was predeceased by her siblings, Frances O’Connor, Marion (late Rodger) Paquette, Joseph O’Connor and infant brother Vincent. She will be greatly missed by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends in Ottawa and Eganville. Helen will be forever remembered for her love of God, love of life, socializing with family and friends and her kindness to others.
Visitation will be held at Zohr Family Funeral Home, Eganville on Saturday February 2, 2019 from 11am – 12:30pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. James the Less Church, Eganville at 1pm followed by reception in the church hall. Spring interment parish cemetery.
