Giuseppe “Peppino” Miceli
Passed away peacefully, with his family by his side, in Hamilton, on Friday, January 18, 2019, at the age of 85. Cherished son of the late Francesco Pietro and the late Teresa Miceli. Beloved husband of Onorina for 62 years. Loving father of Teresa Civitarese ( Danny), Peter Miceli (Annette), Cettina Miceli, Massimo Miceli and Laura Giorno (Anthony). Proud nonno of Daniel, Robert, Joseph, Michael, Christina, Corina, Tiana, Sebastian, Natalie, Adrian, Georgia, Summer and Luca. Dear brother of the late Francesco, the late Maria, Luciano, Michele, the late Silvana, Faustino, Cettina, Tonino and their spouses. Peppino will be fondly remembered by his extended family and many friends. He was the original owner of Paesano Bakery and Miceli Bakery in Stoney Creek. He will be greatly missed. A special thank-you to Dr. Phan and all the staff at Arbour Creek who took special care of our father. Visitation at SMITH’S FUNERAL HOME, 454 Highway #8 (east of Millen Road) STONEY CREEK (905-664-4222) on Tuesday, January 22, 2019 from 3-5 and 6-9 p.m. Prayer Vigil at 8 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Immaculate Heart of Mary Roman Catholic Church, 934 Highway 8, Winona on Wednesday, January 23, 2019 at 10:00 am. Burial Our Lady of the Angels Cemetery, Stoney Creek. If desired, memorial contributions to the Alzheimer’s Society.
