Gilbert
Ralph, 81, of Moncton, passed away peacefully at The Moncton Hospital
on Monday, January 21, 2019.
Born in
Traytown, NL, he was the son of the late Chesley and Ena (Chaytor)
Ralph.
Gilbert was
a retired meter reader with NB Power with 33 years’ service.
He enjoyed woodworking, wood carving, reading and spending time with
his family, especially his grandchildren and great
grandson.
Gilbert will
be sadly missed by his wife of 57 years, Beverley (Pierce) Ralph of
Moncton; daughters, Susan Hebert and Jennifer Peters (Glen), both of
Moncton; grandchildren, Rosanna, Jonathan and Braelynn; great
grandson, Jackson; brother, William Ralph (Barbara) of Point Lepreau;
Laura Sinclair (John) of Saint John and Beulah Ralph (Herbert) of
Glovertown, NL; special aunt, Gertie (Tom) of Traytown, NL, who played
a special role in his life; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins
and extended family members.
In addition
to his parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Eva Janes (Lewis)
and infant grandson, Chaytor.
Visitation
at Fergusons Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) on
Wednesday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 pm. A Service to
celebrate and honour Gilbert’s life will be held from
Fergusons Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, January 24, 2019 at 11:00
am. Reception in the Funeral Home Reception Centre following the
service. Interment will be in Fair Haven Memorial
Gardens.

Gilbert, donations to the Parkinson Society would be appreciated.
