George’s Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our loved one at Lakeside Homes, Gander on Thursday, November 15, 2018 George Llewellyn Pickett age 84 years of Centreville.
Predeceased by his parents Cecil and Edna Pickett; wife Amelia; sisters Vera Parsons (William), Gertrude Brown (Hector) and Ellen Pickett; brother-in-law Roy Bailey.
Left to mourn with fond and loving memories are his daughter Edna Redmond (Peter); sons Melvin (Arlene) and Craig (Joanne); sisters Ellen Cutler (Clayton), Alma Bailey and Genevieve Parsons (Harry); brother Aubrey Pickett (Marion); grandchildren David, Nicholas, Devon, Jamie, Jeffery, Matthew and Sallie; great-grandchildren Sarah, Madison, Melissa, Emma, Olivia, Willow, George, Aiden, Brianna and Amy; and a large circle of other relatives and friends.
Public visitation at St. Barnabas Anglican Church, Centreville beginning at 7 p.m. Saturday.
Funeral service to take place on Monday, November 19th at 11 a.m. with Rev. Daphne Parsons officiating. Interment to follow at The Anglican Church Cemetery, Centreville.
As an expression of sympathy flowers are gratefully accepted or donations in George’s memory may be made to St. Barnabas Anglican Church, Centreville.
