FARRUGIA, Frank
Peacefully at University Hospital on January 20, 2019, Francis “Frank” Farrugia of London in his 90th year. Beloved husband of Margaret. Loving father of Bob (Mary), Rick (Carol), Margarete Parker (Rod), Ricco and Michelle (Shakir). Dear grandfather of Brian, Steven, Tranell, Alex, Vanessa, and Omar and great grandfather of Eve, Jake, Tanja, Trinity and Kato. He will be missed by his step-children Deborah Butler, Terri Large (Robert Lewis), and Michael Butler (Colleen) and step grandchildren Dan, Christopher, Dustin, Michael John and Trevor and their families. Frank is survived by his siblings Jane, Salvino, Evelyn and Edward. Predeceased by his wife Maria Farrugia and siblings Maria, Jessie, Peggy, Stephen, and Albert. He will be sadly missed by all his extended family around the world as well as Dr. Kathy McCully and his childhood friend Fr. Henry Cassano. Frank was a life time member of the Maltese Canada Club and a 4th Degree member of the Knights of Columbus, St Mary’s. Visitation will be held at Needham Funeral Service (520 Dundas St, London) on Wednesday January 23, 2019 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm with prayers at 7:15 pm. The funeral mass will be held on Thursday January 24, 2019 at 11 am at St Patrick’s Church (377 Oakland Ave, London). Interment to follow at St. Peter’s Cemetery. Donations in memory of Frank to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the London Regional Cancer Center would be appreciated. Tributes may be made at www.needhamfuneralhome.com
