Mrs. Faye Shaw of Redvers, and formerly of Gainsborough, passed away at the Redvers Special Care Home on Tuesday, January 29, 2019 at the age of 69.
She was predeceased by her parents, Clarence and Ethel (Young) Irwin; sister, Cindy Irwin; brother, Gary Irwin; in-laws, Ken & Jean Shaw, sister-in-law, Cynthia Irwin; three brothers-in-law, Brent Shaw, Cal Shaw, and Brad Cole.
Faye is survived by her husband, Lynn; daughter, Joan (Kurt) Nistor of Carlyle; son, Kenneth (Karen) Shaw of Gainsborough; eight grandchildren, Natasha (Owen) Kretsch, Tyler (Jessi) Nistor, Sara Shaw, Heidi Shaw, Victoria Shaw, Rhett Shaw, Cody (Jill) Caldwell, and Clay (Kayla) Caldwell; five great-grandchildren, Austin and Ryker Kretsch, Zara and Scarlett Nistor, and Kaleb Swayze; two sisters, Betty Kirby and Jean Cole; four brothers, David (Bev) Irwin, Wayne (Dolores) Irwin, John (Sheryl) Irwin, and Kenny Irwin; also numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
A service to celebrate Faye’s life will be held at the Gainsborough Community Hall on Monday, February 4, 2019 at 2:00pm. Reverend Rob Reed will officiate. Interment will take place at the Winlaw Cemetery at a later date.
