At her side, surrounded with the love of her family at Albright Manor, Beamsville on Wednesday, January 2, 2019, Evelyn Speedie at the age of 92 years. Beloved wife of the late William Speedie (1977). Daughter of the late George and Florence Taylor. Dear mother of George Speedie (Karen). Cherished grandmother of David Speedie (Jennifer) and Eric Speedie (Tamara). Dear sister of the late Norman Taylor (Evelyne), the late Bill Taylor (the late Lil) and Joan Kneller (Jim). Special thanks to her longtime friend Lil Steeves and her family for their love and support over the years and also to the staff of 3rd Floor South of Albright Manor for their care and compassion. Visitation at Bay Gardens Funeral Home – “William J. Markey Chapel”, 947 Rymal Road East, HAMILTON (905.574.0405) on Sunday, January 6th from 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm and from 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm. The Funeral Service will be held at Bay Gardens Funeral Home on Monday, January 7th at 1:00 pm. Burial will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Stoney Creek.
