2019, Dyan (née Cantin) French passed away at the age of 73. Dyan will forever be remembered by her husband of 51 years, Robert “Bob” and her children Carolynn Clark (Don) and Greg French (Lori). She will also be fondly remembered by her grandchildren Brienna and Naithan, her sister Lyse Charland (Leo), her brothers Jean-Pierre Cantin (Claudette) and Denis Cantin (Evelyn) and her numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends. Dyan was born in Quebec but lived in Ontario for most of her adult life. As a young woman she attended Fine Arts College and briefly studied interior design. As an adult she moved frequently with her family and relied on her design and decorating skills to transform each new house into a comfortable and welcoming home. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 23, 2019 from 6-8 p.m., at the A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, London, Ontario and on Friday, January 25, 2019 from at 6-8 p.m. at Adams Funeral Home, 445 St. Vincent Street, Barrie, Ontario (just north of Cundles Road). A Celebration of Dyan`s life will be held in the Adams Funeral Home chapel on Saturday, January 26, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. Cremation has taken place. Spring interment in St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Cemetery, Phelpston, Ontario. Memorial donations in memory of Dyan may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society (www.cancer.ca) or the London Health Sciences Cancer Program (www.lhsf.ca).
