Obituary for Donald George “Don” Ediger
With family by his side, Donald George “Don” Ediger, passed away at the Glenboro Health Centre, on Tuesday January 8, 2019 at the age of 73 years.
Don leaves to mourn his passing his loving wife Nora (nee Ferris), son David (Crystal) of Glenboro, daughter Janet (Chris) Drover of Brandon, grandchildren Ryan, Dylan, Carson & Colby; brother Jack Ediger of Portage la Prairie, sisters Linda (Elmer) Kuber of Selkirk, Lois (Arnie) Neufeld of Oakbank MB as well as numerous extended relatives & friends.
Don was predeceased by infant sons Brian & Brent, parents Abram Ediger & Mary (nee Spenst), sister-in-law Betty Ediger, father & mother-in-law Vincent Ferris & Anne (nee Malyon), brothers & sisters-in-laws Jim (Flo) Ferris, Mazo (Ron) Black, Jean (Kel) Henry & Carl (Iris) Ferris.
A Celebration of Don’s life will be held on Saturday January 12, 2019 at 1:00 pm in the Glenboro Kinsmen Community Hall with Sandra Rex officiating. Interment will take place in the Glenboro Cemetery. Following the interment, a reception will be held back in the Kinsmen Hall.
Friends that so desire, memorial donations can be made in Don’s memory to the Glenboro United Church Memorial Fund, Box 623, Glenboro MB or to the Glenboro & Area Foundation, Box 147, Glenboro MB R0K 0X0.
