Don Eagles December 15 1950 January 19 2019

Passed away suddenly on Saturday, January 19th, 2019. Don Eagles at the age of 68, best friend and soulmate of 10 years to his wife Vicki. Proud father of Jason (Nadia) Eagles, Lori Bartlett (Nick DiTomaso) and Cory (Lori Ann) Sellars. Adored Papa of Cayley, Ainsley, Ryder and Katelynn who loved him dearly. Beloved son of the late Marjorie and Raymond Eagles and loved brother of Bruce (LadyBug) Eagles, Brian (Sandy) Eagles, Gary Eagles, Kevin Eagles, Heather (Miles) Wittig and Kim (Dave) Sterling. Brother in-law of Derel, Nancy, Danny (Beverly) and Tom (Karen). Don will also be forever remembered by his many nieces, nephews and friends. Don was a strong, loving, and caring man who loved nothing more than to make people smile. With his quick wit and great sense of humour you didn’t leave a conversation with Don without a belly laugh or at least a grin. He was very active in the community through baseball, hockey, the Barrie Construction Association and Rotary. An amazing man who loved his family and life with all he had. Friends will be received at ADAMS FUNERAL HOME, 445 St. Vincent St. Barrie (just north of Cundles Rd.) on Wednesday from 3 – 6 p.m. A private family service has been held. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Emmanuel’s Wish Foundation would be appreciated by the family. Messages of condolence may be forwarded to the family through adamsfuneralhome.ca
