MADDOCK, Darlene Mary (nee Hobbs)
Darlene passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones on Wednesday, January 16th, 2019, at the age of 92. She was predeceased in death by her husband Gordon, daughter Diane, son Randy and grandson Matthew. Loving mother of Rick and daughter-in-laws Carol and Laurel. Proud Gram of Heather (Leslie), Melanie (Michael) and Shaun (Melissa). Great grandmother of Gavin, Kaelyn, Taylor, Alonzo, Quinton, Noah, Jack and Penelope. She was wonderfully devoted to her family and will forever be remembered for her unconditional love, strength and sense of humour. The family is forever grateful to the staff at Hillsdale Estates, Moonlight Bay for their unwavering support and compassion provided to Darlene and her entire family during her final journey in life. Visitation will be held in the chapel at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Wednesday, January 23rd from 10:00 a.m. until time of Service of Remembrance at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Union Cemetery.
