Daisy’s Obituary
Passed peacefully away surrounded by her loving family at the Bonne Bay Health Centre, in Norris Pt, NL, on Wednesday, January 30th, 2019, Daisy Marion Payne nee Parsons, at the age of 87 years.
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her husband of 59 years Max Payne, her children; Norma (Stan) Patey, Marketa (Monte) Snow, Ula Payne, Jarvis (Lynn) Payne, Frances (Jimmy) Brown, Elmer Payne, Florella (Darwin) Smith, Kay (Ross) Payne, and Nelson Payne (Nick), her grandchildren; Troy (Vanessa), Thor, Jessica (Ryan), Jenna (Kevin), Zachary, Leanna (Dylan), Joshua (Kayla), James Colton, Manique (Eric), and Julien (Nikki), her great grandchildren; Daniel, William, Rebecca, Mackenzie, Alevia, Chase, and Amaya, her sisters; Rowena Bavis, Josephine Walters, and Edna Wentzell, her brothers; Gerald (Marion) Parsons, and Rex (Jean) Parsons, his brother-in-law; Claude Brown, mother was predeceased by her parents; Gladys and Eldrick Parsons, her siblings; Sandy (Mary Jane) Parsons, Lily Kate (Percie) Payne, Jessie Brown, Mildred (Henry) Payne, Beatrice (Gilbert) Goosney, Sadie (Tom) Verge, Steadman Parsons, and Joyce Parsons, her mother and father-in-law; Catherine and William Payne and step father-in-law; James Decker.
The family will be receiving family and friends at St. Peter’s Anglican Church in Parsons Pond, NL, on Thursday, January 31st, 2019 from the hours of 7-9 pm, and continuing on Friday, February 1st, 2019, from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 pm, where also the funeral service will take place from on Saturday, February 2nd, 2019, at 2:00 pm, with Canon Terry Rose officiating with the burial to follow at the family plot of the Church cemetery in Parsons Pond, NL.
