Brent Malmberg passed away suddenly on Tuesday, January 8, 2019 at the family farm in Longview Alberta at the age of 74 years. Brent was born on April 4, 1944 in High River to Douglas and Patricia (Mace) Malmberg and at the age of 4 they moved to the farm along the Highwood River near Longview where Brent resided for 70 years until his passing. He is survived by his children; Renai (Buck) Thompson, Lindsey (Kevin) Malmberg – Ali, Sheldon (Cailyn)… Read More » Malmberg and Jamie Malmberg. He also leaves behind his grandchildren; Courtney (Anthony), Dalton, Brodey, Kolby, Clay, Curtiss, Hadley, Roan, Jayden and Skylar, his niece Jodie Walker, his sister-in-law Carole Malmberg as well as numerous great nieces, great nephews and cousins. Brent was predeceased by his parents Douglas and Patricia Malmberg, his brother Gary and two nephews, Dick and Jeff. Brent had a passion for gardening and took great pride in his flowers. Family was extremely important to Brent and he was very proud of all his grandchildren. A celebration of Brent’s life will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to The Heart and Stroke foundation, 1153 40 St NE, Calgary AB, T2A 1J8. The family would like to express their heart – felt gratitude to Dr Brian Siray for his compassionate care throughout the years.
