Peacefully at the Maxville Manor with her family by her side on Friday, January 4, 2019. Colleen Mary McDonell (nee Deruchie) of Maxville; age 82 years. Beloved wife of Joe McDonell. Loving mother of Finlay McDonell (Christine) of Maxville, Mark McDonell of Maxville, and Joanne McDonell of Cornwall. Cherished grandmother of Amanda, Blake and Ewen. Dear sister of Ron Deruchie (Norma), and Ken Deruchie (Kay) both of Cornwall, Norma Potvin (Gerry) of North Bay, and Helen MacDonald (Gerry) of Barrie. Dear daughter of the late John and Marguerite Deruchie (nee Rousseau). Relatives and friends may call at the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 20 Main St. South, Maxville (613-527-2898) on Monday, January 7, 2019 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm and on Tuesday from 9:30 am -10:30 am. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in the St. Catherine of Sienna Catholic Church, Greenfield on Tuesday, January 8, 2019 at 11 am. Spring Interment Parish Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy Memorial Donations to the Maxville Manor Foundation would be appreciated by the family. As a Memorial to Colleen a tree will be planted in a Memory Woods.
