In Loving Memory
February 26, 1922 – January 28, 2019
It is with very sad hearts that we say goodbye to Charlotte, a loving, graceful, ever-positive mother, grandmother and friend who passed away with her family by her side after a long and happy life. She will be deeply missed. She was predeceased by her loving husband Claude and little sweetheart granddaughter Arianne, by her parents and siblings and many relatives in Germany and in Québec.
Very loving mother to her daughters Patricia and Paulette, son-in-law Nigel, and most cherished grandmother to Chloé and Nicholas, Charlotte was completely devoted to her family. She loved nature, gardening, travelling, playing bridge, beaches and seashells, and volunteering. Always resourceful and resilient, she could do anything; what she didn’t know, she learned.
We will all miss her huge heart and her perfectly-kind soul. She will be remembered lovingly as a gentle yet determined woman who saw the best in everyone. Her grace and dignity always shone through.
The family is especially indebted to the exceptional care provided by the staff at the Redwoods Retirement Residence where she was loved and lovingly cared for, to Home Instead for the wonderful evening companionship, and to the staff of the ACE unit at the QCH during her recent stay.
As an expression of sympathy, a donation can be made to the Alzheimer Society of Canada or a charity of your choice. Friends may contact the family for details on the celebration of her life planned for Spring. Condolences and Sharing Memories at www.capitalmemorial.ca.
Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Charlotte Montreuil 2019..
