1947-2019
It is with heartfelt sadness, the family of Brian Clement
Cooke, husband of Christina (Mazurewicz) Cooke, announce his passing
on Monday, January 14, 2019, at Bobby’s Hospice, after a courageous
battle with cancer
Born on June 25, 1947, in Saint John, he was a son of the
late Robert and Mary (Donovan) Cooke. Brian was employed at Source
Atlantic for 43 years, retiring as Manager of Industrial Pipes, Valves
and Fittings.
He was a wonderful, loving husband, father and brother and
will be missed deeply by all who knew and loved him.
Besides his wife of 50 years, Brian is survived by his
daughters; Bridget Aucoin (Jeff) of Quispamsis, and Cynthia Cooke
Newcombe (Chuck) of Ohio, brother David (Debbie) of BC sisters; Lynne
White (Gerald) of Rothesay, and Suzanne Dockrill (Perry) of
California, granddaughters; Katherine and Olivia Newcombe, as well as
several nieces and nephews; aunts, uncles and cousins.
The family wishes to express their thanks to the staff of
Bobby’s Hospice, Extramural, Staff of Oncology, Radiology, Cardiac and
Diabetes Clinic at the Saint John Regional Hospital, for their support
and care of Brian.
Resting at Kennebecasis Community Funeral Home, 152
Pettingill Road, Quispamsis (849-2119) with visiting on Friday,
January 18, 2019 from 2:00 – 4:00 PM & 6:00 – 8:00 PM. Mass of
Christian Burial will take place at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church,
31 Gondola Point Road, Rothesay on Saturday, January 19, 2019 at 11:00
AM. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to Bobby’s Hospice,
SPCA or a charity of the donor’s choice. Online condolences may be
