Obituary for Brad Harold Pierce
PIERCE, Brad
1964 – 2019
Brad Harold Pierce’s journey started on August 14, 1964. He left us on January 6, 2019 surrounded by family.
He grew up in Estevan, with eldest sister Vicki and his younger brother Scott. Brad met Sharilee in 1985, they brought three exceptional children into their family: Jennifer, Brittany, and Daniel. They also reared several fur babies. He taught his children the absolute fundamentals of life: how to blow up a shed, and how fast an oiled up toboggan with three children and a 6’4″ man can go down an 80° snow covered hill. Brad had a zest for life…or what Emril Lagasse would call, a “BAM!” He lived his life loud and full, with good music, great food, and better company. Brad will be remembered for his wonderful sense of humour, his rock and roll spirit, his dedication to his family and his excruciating one fingered armpit tickles. He will be forever missed by his grandson, family, and friends. He taught us to walk a little slower, stop and smell the roses, try something new, don’t take your loved ones for granted, and to just live.
In keeping with Brad’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a family graveside service will be held at Souris Valley Memorial Gardens at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, Brad’s family would greatly appreciate memorial donations to the Huntington Society of Canada, 151 Frederick Street, Suite 400, Kitchener, ON, N2H 2M2.
