Betty Jane Bullock
October 29, 1951 – January 12, 2019

It is with great sorrow Betty Jane (Hunter)Bullock’s Family is sad to inform you of her passing. Betty fought hard but ultimately lost her battle with cancer on Saturday, January 12, 2019.
Betty spent her last days in Biggar Hospital surrounded by those she loved. Many days and evenings Betty’s family could be seen as the laughter could be heard in the hallways of the hospital. The many stories that were shared by family and friends were greatly appreciated. Good thing the walls cannot talk!
Betty will forever be missed by the community of Landis where she had been involved in man groups from Landis Legion and curling to Landis 4-H in the younger years to playing Bingo or Kaiser, tending bar for Club Dance and other community events or even working in the Landis Cafe for many years.
Lately Betty had been knitting slippers for family & friends. We were proud to take in over 30 pairs of knitted slippers (with some hats and afghans) to the Saskatoon Cancer Clinic so other Cancer Patients could have slippers, hats or a throw. The Cancer Clinic was thrilled to have the donation. Sadly, Betty had to slow down her knitting in September when it got harder for her to knit. This devastated her as it helped pass the time.
We would like to thank Dr. Muller and the Nurses at Biggar Hospital for their excellent care for mom while she spent the last month. The staff made her Hospital stay as comfortable as possible.
We would also like to extend thank you out to everyone who sent flowers, card, food, calls and to those who were able to stop by for a visit. Visitors definitely helped make the time go by and there is no better medicine than company itself.
A memorial service will be held in Landis at a later date. We would love for everyone to join us as we say goodbye to our grandma, mom, wife, sister and friend Betty.
Betty is survived by: husband Bob Bullock; daughter Deb Chapman, son-in-law Chris Chapman; son James Bullock, daughter-in-law Jordan Bullock; grandchildren Kourtney Chapman, Ryder Chapman, Rylie Bullock, Aubrie Bullock and Hunter Bullock; 13 surviving siblings, numerous in laws, nieces and nephews.
