November 19, 1953 – January 04, 2019

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Barbara Retieffe announce her passing at the Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital in Stephenville on Friday January 4th 2019 at the age of 65 years. She will be sadly missed by her son Christopher (Jennifer) in Stephenville, her grandchildren Meghan (Mitchell) Gallant, Ethan, Cohen, Kenzie, great grandson Adrian. Also leaving to mourn her three brothers Allan LeCoure Jr. (Becky) in Lourdes, Calvin (Sharon) LeCoure in Lourdes, Greg in Aguathuna, her three sisters Jeanette (Edward) Hinks in Lourdes, Mona ( Jack) Abbott in Lourdes, Marion (Stephen) Moraze in Three Rock Cove, brother in law George Retieffe and a large circle of relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Clyde, her parents Allan Sr. and Theresa LeCoure and her sister Valerie Retieffe. Visitation will take place a from Our Lady of Lourdes church on Sunday January 6th from 2-4 and 7-9 from where the funeral will take place on Monday January 7th at 10:30 A.M. Barbara was a kind and loving person, she would always be there to help people in their time of need in any way she could. Her thoughtfulness and compassion will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
