Obituary for Barbara Ann Watson
Barbara Ann Watson, age 86 of Fort Erie Ontario passed away on Wednesday January 9th 2019 at the Greater Niagara General Hospital. She was born November 20 1932 to Margaret and Harold Graham in Toronto Ontario. She married Robert (Bud) Watson on September 20, 1952 and he survives.
Also surviving are her daughter Jane Watson of Ridgeway Ontario, her son Robb (Terry) Watson of Severn Bridge Ontario, her brother Bob (Pat) Graham of Orillia Ontario, her grandson Bob (Holly) MacCannell, her granddaughter Jill MacCannell and her great grandson Warren MacCannell. Also 3 nieces Sarah, Sandy, Joanne and nephew Bradley and many cousins.
Barbara’s parents and sister Marilyn proceeded her in death
Barbara was a long time resident of Unionville Ontario where she lived her childhood and graduated from Markham District High School.
She was an avid cottager and enjoyed the recreational outdoors at their cottage on the Severn River. Her hobbies were curling and crafts.
Barbara requested a small remembrance without ceremony. Visitation held on Thursday January the 17th at Chapel Ridge Funeral Home, 8911 Woodbine Avenue, Markham Ontario between the hours of 2pm to 4pm and 5pm to 8pm.
In lieu of flowers, donation may be given to Shriners Ontario or Sick Kids Foundation.
