Torch-Packham, Audrey (Nordahl)-Peacefully on Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at the Burloak Long Term Care Centre, Burlington, in her 102nd year. Beloved wife of the late Lewis Torch (May 1970) and Earle Packham (September 2007). Loving mother of Richard (Dale) Torch of Tweed, Lorraine (Scott) McDonald of St. Davids and Marlene (Ron) Eberle of Kelowna. Cherished Grandma of Lindy Keene, Dan Forsyth, Dave (Tara) Forsyth, Dana Torch and Miles (Tana) Torch. Great Grandma to Rowan, Tristan, Cameron and Braeden. Predeceased by her sisters Ragna Case and Margaret Brettrager and brothers Arvid, Barney and Sigurd Nordahl. Also a loving Aunt to her nieces and nephews and their families. Born in Norway in 1916, the family immigrated to Canada in 1929 where Audrey went to school and worked and married Lewis Fredrick Torch. They had three children. Audrey raised the children after Lewis’ death and went on to marry Earle Packham. She lived a full and happy life to almost 103 wonderful years. Audrey will be sadly missed by all of her friends at Burloak Long Term Care. Special thanks to the nurses and staff there for their excellent care. Friends will be received at Bay Gardens Funeral Home, 1010 Botanical Drive, Burlington, 905.527.0405 on Tuesday, January 29 from 11 am – 1 pm. A Celebration of Audrey’s life will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel following at 1 pm. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. For those who wish, donations to the Woodview Mental Health & Autism Services would be appreciated. Online condolences at www.baygardens.ca
