ROWAN, ANN (Scobie)
Peacefully at the Osgoode Care Centre on Sunday January 20, 2019. Predeceased by her husband Ed Rowan. Loving mother of Kim (James Olive), Greg Rowan, Debra Wells (Cordell Roberts), Doug Rowan (late Karen Reid) and Wanda Rowan (Len Burke). Beloved grandmother of Adam Olive (Laura Leifso), Jenna Olive (Sofiane Lala), Darcy Wells and Katelyn Wells. Great grandmother of Cali, Zachary and Owen Olive. Special sister-in-law to Martin Rowan (Vi), Rose-Marie Bekkers (Anton), Liz McCooeye (late Dale Crowder), Jo-Anne Nixon (Barry), Susan Streng (Jack) and Max Rowan (Martha). Daughter of the late Harold and Irene Scobie. Sister to the late Robert and Harold Scobie (Lynnette). Also survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family. The family extends heartfelt gratitude to the entire staff of the Osgoode Care Centre for mom’s care over the years and the compassion, care and support shown to the family during mom’s last days with us. Thanks to Dr. Archibald and St. Jacques Nursing home. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 26th, 2019 at the Russell Legion at 24 Legion Lane, Russell, Ontario from 2-5pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Osgoode Care Centre would be appreciated.
