Alfred Ulrich 2019

Alfred Ulrich
On Tuesday, January 15, 2019 at the age of ninety-five. He was the youngest and last surviving child of Joseph and Clara Ulrich (née Elson), who married in New York City in 1912 and soon thereafter made their lives in Montreal. He is survived by all three children from his late wife Suzanne (née Archambault): Jeffrey Ulrich and Lyne Hebert of New York City; Nancy Ulrich; and Debbie and Gregory Laroza of Sunapee, New Hampshire. He is also survived by two grandsons, Alexander and Zachary Laroza of Manchester, NH. He was the loving brother and brother-in-law of the late Erie and the late Florina, the late Bess and the late Abe Langsner, and the late Harold and the late Dora. Alfred will be sadly missed by his nieces, nephews, family and friends. As a widower, he was the adoring life partner of the late Simone David. Her nephew Daniel Dahan aided him for years after her passing. He had a particular close life-long relationship with his nephew Stephen and Carol Langsner, who helped care for him until his final days. “Alfie” was in business with his brother Harold as a manufacturer of children’s apparel. He led a very blessed life filled with many great experiences. His passing represents the “end of an era” for those who knew him for his colorful personality. The family is very grateful for the exceptional, respectful care of the Kastner Nursing Pavilion. Graveside service on Friday, January 18 at 11:00 a.m., at the Temple Emanu-El-Beth Sholom Congregation Section, Eternal Gardens Cemetery, Beaconsfield. Contributions in his memory may be made to the Jewish Hospital of Hope Eldercare Foundation, (514) 738-4500, ext.: 2124.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Alfred Ulrich 2019..
