Obituary of Adam Hollingworth
December 16, 1983 – December 29, 2018
It is with deepest sorrow we announce the sudden passing of Adam Jordan Hollingworth at the age of 35 years. Adam passed away in Vancouver on December 29th, 2018.
Adam was born at QEII Hospital in Grande Prairie, AB and raised on an acreage North of smith AB. He attended school in smith. He played minor hockey and baseball in smith. He continued into adulthood with golf, and bowling as well as camping and following NFL football. He was an extraordinary cook; he loved his smoker. After graduation, he worked various jobs before becoming a tire technician at Fountain Tire. This paved the way for his passion for tires and he began his own Company, Toby’s Tires.
Adam had a special touch with children and couldn’t wait to have his own. Adam and Eric enjoyed many trips together including the World Juniors in Calgary in 2012, the east coast the summer of 2018 and the World Juniors in Vancouver. Those who knew Adam well knew if he gave you trouble you probably deserved it. He could be brutally honest. He was also very kind and giving.
Adam is survived by his parents Doug and Peggy Hollingworth, brother Ian (Cyndi) Hollingworth and sister Courtney Hollingworth. He is also survived by his grandfather Willie Zahara and grandmother Shirley Hollingworth as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his brother Eric Hollingworth, cousin Joel Zahara, grandmother Della Zahara, grandfather Norman Hollingworth and cousin Niki Hollingworth.
