Michael Nakonecznyj
January 1, 1923 – January 4, 2019
It is with great sadness to announce that Michael suddenly passed away at Credit Valley Hospital on Friday, January 4, 2019 at the age of 96. Predeceased by his first wife Anna and second wife Olga.
Loving father of Terry (Filomena), and Darka Mancini. Proud Grandpa of Sasha. Michael will always be fondly remembered by his nieces Danka (Gregory), Olya (Ihor) and Irena (Jerry) as well as his extended family in England. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. The family wishes to thank Ivan Franko Home Residence for their wonderful care.
Visitation at the MARKEY-DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) on Tuesday from 2-4 pm and 6-9 pm. Panachyda at 7 pm. Funeral Service will take place at All Saints of Ukraine Chapel, at St. Volodymyr Cemetery, 1280 Dundas Street West, Oakville on Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at 1 p.m. Interment to follow at St. Volodymyr Cemetery.
