MacLEOD – Shirley K., 87, of Western Head, Queens County, passed away peacefully in Queens General Hospital, Liverpool on Friday, January 25, 2019.
Born in Liverpool, Shirley was a daughter of the late Simeon and Eleanor (Whynot) Whynot.
Shirley enjoyed reading and doing puzzle books, going to Karaoke , watching soap operas and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her daughters Pamela MacLeod (Michael Huphman) of Mersey Point, Patricia (Charlie) of Halifax, Linda (Dennis) Jollimore of Annapolis Valley, Lillian (Vincent) Lowe of Milton, Karen MacLeod of Liverpool. Her sons Wayne of Liverpool, Michael of Halifax and Morris (Virginia) of Western Head, 17 grandchildren and a number of great grandchildren. Her brother Eric (Mary Ann) of Liverpool.
Besides her parents, Shirley was predeceased by her husband Clarence, Daughter Sharon, Sons Thomas, Christopher, Paul; sisters Elizabeth June, Madge and Lillian and her brothers Oscar, Thomas, Frank and Ross.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of Chandlers’ Funeral Home, Liverpool. The will be no funeral service for Shirley at this time. No flowers by request, donations may be made to any charity of your choice. Online condolences may be made to www.chandlersfuneral.com
